Associations and Activities
Manship Ambassador, LSU Manship School, 2012 - 2014
Manship Ambassadors help recruit students, give tours of facilities, meet with dignitaries and visitors, and help run Manship School student orientations for freshmen, pre-mass communication students and newly admitted students. I have spoken at a few events such as orientation and quiz bowl, which is an event to help students learn more about AP Style.

LSU Ambassador, LSU, 2012
The LSU Ambassadors constitute a unique organization of student leaders chosen to aid the University’s orientation and recruitment programs, encourage pride and spirit in the LSU community, and provide diligent service to the LSU campus. LSU Ambassadors assist students throughout their time spent under the oaks and arches - from orientation to graduation. As an ambassador I participated in Geaux BIG Baton Rouge, a one-day event that unites LSU students and Baton Rouge residents through service to strengthen the university’s relationship with the community; assisted at school-ran events; and also wrote articles for events.

Volunteer, UNICEF LSU, August 2012 - May 2013
The purpose of UNICEF at LSU is to assist the United Nations Children's Fund in its efforts to provide long-term humanitarian aid to children in developing countries. Specifically, the club achieves this through three activities - fundraising, public awareness and education, and community service. As a volunteer I helped raise funds at events such as Trick-orTreat for UNICEF and also BREC's Trick or Treat with Your Dog event.

Small Group Leader, Student Tigers Rallying, Interacting and Promoting Education and Service (S.T.R.I.P.E.S), Summer 2012
STRIPES is a four-day, three-night retreat that prepares first year students for the transition to LSU. At STRIPES, students learn what it really means to be an LSU Tiger. I had the privilege of being a small group leader of three different groups of incoming students. I facilitated discussions in STRIPES groups and oversaw all STRIPES activities. My groups won awards such as best small group, best flag and best roll-call.

Member, PRSSA at LSU, 2011 - 2013
The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is a pre-professional organization that gives students the chance to gain insight from leading professionals around the Louisiana area in an effort to prepare its members for the real world. I experienced the PR industry as a member of PRSSA. I learned from shared stories from PR professionals, PR opportunities such as a Hornets (now Pelicans) press conference, and social media exposures.
